The Muppet Christmas Carol
The Muppet Christmas Carol is on many all-time Christmas movie lists, and we gave it a watch, but as E says, it was quite slow. I wanted to love it, as the Muppets are so endearing, but the pace leaves a lot to be desired. Michael Caine is, of course, a legend, and I’m glad to always fill out more of his filmography.

A classic Christmas film neither Z nor I remember watching as a kid that really disappointed me. The story felt very long and slow. I definitely have a soft spot for the Muppets characters, but, despite a few funny moments, this felt like a bit of a slog. I can see why kids might really enjoy this though, and I do have to give credit to Michael Caine for playing an excellent Scrooge!
