Spider-Man: No Way Home
No Way Home was the movie I realized I might be a Spider-Man superfan, or at least like close. Bringing in Tobey and Andrew, the emotion, the nostalgia, it just hits so good. And not only that, but Dafoe and Molina reprising their roles is just chef’s kiss. It all worked here, and as the beginnings of the multi-verse era of the MCU, which is only now just coming to fruition with the upcoming Avengers movie, it’s more relevant than ever. As E says, the tone of the first this SM trilogy is just so incredibly consistent, and No Way Home just completely sticks the landing. Can’t wait ‘til the next rewatch.

The plot of this movie is very well developed and finishes out this trio of Spider-Man films in a really satisfying way. It’s incredibly impressive how the tone of this film continues to match the other two. The alternate universe Spider-Men addition was a really fun plot point, but I gotta be honest, felt a little too drawn out for the sake of nostalgia here. Regardless, there are a lot of emotional moments in this film that are very well played.
