Spider-Man: Far From Home

While I agree that this is the weakest of the bunch, Far From Home is still a very fun addition to the catalogue, and as a big Jake Gyllenhaal fan, I think he plays a fantastic Mysterio. The Skrulls post-credit stuff does also really change the re-watch of this movie, and that’s a weird artifact that it’s left with. Glad we revisited this.

This is the weakest of the Tom Holland Spider-Man films in my opinion, but still moves the story along in the right direction. I just didn’t connect with the overly cartoon-y feel of Mysterio. The European setting, while fun, felt a little wrong. The tone and humor is carried along well, but it just didn’t have the same impact as the first. The choice to include such important plot points as mid/post-credits scenes also left me scratching my head a bit.
