Shelby Oaks
The Cinemark secret movie series for October. When it was shown in the theater that this was the film, a smile grew from ear to ear. It has been awhile since the Secret Movie hit, but I knew this had promise. For a scary movie I really think it worked. For a deep movie trying to attack deep themes I would say it missed. The filming was also very unique, a mix of film and found footage. I really can’t think of anything I have seen like it other than The Conjuring and Paranormal Activity had a baby. There is a lot that I need to sit on and try to understand, but overall this is the type of movie I needed in October.
